人は未知のものを怖れる。

People are afraid of the unknown.

:

死に対してはなおさらである。

Especially for death.

:

宗教的救済はそのために必要なのだ。

Religious salvation is necessary for that.

:

佛陀は死にゆく者を救済した。

Buddha saved the dying.

:

イエスは自らの死を通して救済のありかを示した。

Jesus showed salvation through his death.

佛陀の救済は母「いろは」である。

Buddha's salvation is his mother "Iroha".

:

イエスの救済は父「ひふみ」にある。

The salvation of Jesus lies in his father, Hifumi.

:

佛陀の救済は富士山を降るようなもの。

Buddha's salvation is like descending Mt. Fuji.

:

イエスの救済は富士山を昇るようなもの。

Jesus' salvation is like climbing Mt. Fuji.

:

そのどちらも正しい。

Both are correct.

:

鳴門の道と富士の道。

Way of Naruto and Way of Fuji.

:

水と火、水火（みづほ）ざぞ。

Water and fire, water fire (Mizuho).

:

あなたはどちらを選ぶか。

Which one do you choose?

:

私は「みづほ」の道を与えよう。

I will give you the way of "Mizuho".

人も宇宙も生まれては死ぬ、これが摂理。

People and the universe are born and die, this is providence.

:

生と死はただ循環あるのみ。

Life and death are just a cycle.

:

循環は神が与え給うた法則である。

Circulation is a law given by God.

:

「ひふみ」と「いろは」が循環するように、生と死はずっと連続している。

Life and death are continuous, just as "Hifumi" and "Iroha" circulate.

:

これが佛陀の究極の悟りである。

This is the ultimate enlightenment of Buddha.

:

あなたを救う法則は永遠の命の循環である。

The law that saves you is the eternal cycle of life.

:

「いろは」は永遠の命にあなたを誘う。

"Iroha" invites you to eternal life.

:

永遠の循環を説いた佛陀、永遠の命を説いたイエス。

Buddha who preached the eternal cycle, Jesus who preached the eternal life.

:

これら二つの真理は同じである。

These two truths are the same.

:

釈迦とイエスは同じことを言い、私も同じことを説く。

Buddha and Jesus say the same thing, and I preach the same thing.

:

生命の救済は循環の「いろは」と永遠の「ひふみ」にあり。

The salvation of life lies in the circular "Iroha" and the eternal "Hifumi".

:

よろしいであろうか。
